My passion is theatre.

My curiosity is the primal need to express and be heard.

My love is creating opportunities for people to meet, engage and share live energy exchanges.

I am a community artist who enjoys playing many different roles:-

- Production manager: of teams of artists and differing  audiences whether in a theatre, in a field or at a funeral.

- Maker: of junk musical instruments, processional lanterns or props of purpose.

- Natural Voice Practitioner: singing with community members of any age, ability or creed.

- Workshop leader: I can run community singing sessions & projects, lantern making, body percussion, flag making, kaleidoscope making………. We can talk ideas!

- Director, designer, performer: creating ideas alone or in a team

I have a BTEC in Performing Arts from Thanet Technical College and a 1:1 BA Hons in Theatre Practice from the Central School of Speech and Drama, London.

Since graduating in 2000 I have worked for many Community Arts Companies around the UK from the Liverpool Lantern Company to Macnas in Galway and Welfare State International in Cumbria.

From 2008 - 2012 I co-created and delivered Tongue Tide & Twisted, a company based in Barrow-in-Furness in Cumbria which delivered compelling community singing projects and regular singing groups ranging from Singing For The Brain groups for the Alzheimer’s Society to a performance choir singing in and celebrating the landscape. I was also a performing partner in Tongue Tide, a female duo singing at ceremonies and celebrations, life events and comedy cabarets.
