Singing for the Brain

In Cumbria, my work with the Singing for the Brain groups in Barrow-in-Furness and Kendal for the Alzheimers’ Society taught me about how the weekly effect of exercising the brain to body connection can stimulate someone’s diminishing ability to talk, connect, remember and smile or cry. The following are examples of what we’d do in the name of singing…

We'd pass things around in the name of singing ...

We'd throw things about in the name of singing ...

We'd go places we haven’t been for a while in the name of singing….

Anyone can perform a solo should they wish…. here’s Joe….

And there’s no limit on the amount of fun one might find oneself in…. Here’s Albert….
